Do I have to be a Kent Bank customer to use Mobile Banking?

Yes, you must have accounts with Kent Bank and be enrolled in Kent Bank's Internet Banking in order to use Mobile Banking.

How do I enroll in Mobile Banking?

Log on to Internet Banking. Under Service Options Menu, chose "Mobile Banking" and complete the required enrollment form.
It will ask you to select any accounts you want to view on Mobile Banking. Any Checking, Savings, Certificates, or Loans can be viewed.
A text message will be delivered to your phone with easy instructions to activate you Mobile Banking service.

Is there a wait period after enrolling for Mobile Banking?

No. Once you've enrolled and activated the service, Mobile Banking is ready to use.

Which phones/mobile devices can be used for Mobile Banking?

You should be able to access Mobile Banking with any of these three mobile devices.
- Mobile Phones with text capabilities
- Mobile Phones with web access

Although Kent Bank does not charge for Mobile Banking, your wireless carrier’s standard web rates do apply.

Can I pay bills with Mobile Banking?

Coming in March you will be able to pay bills right from your mobile phone (web access users only). It will allow you to: make or schedule a payment, view and modify scheduled payments, view recent payment history.
Customers must be enrolled in our online bill pay service.

Yes!!! No detailed account information is ever sent out.
With text phones, you view your account by nicknames you set up, never by account numbers.
With web access and APPS, you have a 128-bit encryption that masks your sensitive information. A password is required each time you log in. Plus consumer's private "picture and pass phrase" are displayed to protect against phishing.
